Light to the Nations

Jesus tells us that we are not to hide our lights under a bushel basket, or a bucket, or a laundry hamper under the bed; but we are to display it for all to see-out on the nightstand, or even the kitchen table. Light cannot be hidden, just like a city on a hill cannot be hidden. At times, we feel like our own little lights may not be very bright, but God puts us where God wants us, all we have to do is shine and point people to the true light of the world. Jesus says to us all, “let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” At Heights Presbyterian, we want to be a light in the world for Jesus. Come help us shine!

“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
