Opportunities to Serve

We’ve fed over 1800 hungry people in the Heights so far this year:  young, migrant workers, elderly, fixed-income adults and homeless families and individuals. While circumstances and life stories vary, there is one thing they all have in common: hunger. When people are hungry--truly, desperately hungry--they cannot work, think, or even rest properly. They cannot function. Neighbors in Need is our way of partnering with sister congregations and like-minded folks to bless our neighbors as we help meet one of the most basic, human needs. Together we serve, knowing that whatever we do for our neighbors in need, we do as unto our Lord. To participate or contribute to this ministry, please contact the church office.
