Founded on the Rock
On Sunday we talked about how the foundation you choose to build on is important. (You can always check out the most recent sermon under the Worship tab.) Would you rather build your house on a rock, or on the sand? What about when hurricane season comes? A more stable foundation increases the longevity of a building. There’s a reason they have to keep fixing the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You mess up the foundation and you are guaranteed to run into further problems down the line. Since a foundation must bear the load of everything that will be built on top of it, it is crucial that strength beget strength. As Christians, our faith is founded upon The Rock, Jesus. If you’ve driven by the church lately, you may have noticed that the pillars that grace the outside of the sanctuary are beginning to take shape. It’s not quite clear what the upper part of the pillars will look like yet, but the most important part is in place- the rocks that make up the foundation of the pillars. May these rocks be a reminder to you of your sure foundation, the true cornerstone, Jesus Christ himself.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”

Light of the world is a concept which is needed to be understood and people who are working on this concept will easily understand it. This would be an ideal blog after royalessays reviews knowledge. I would like to share this blog was soon as possible.
